Dick Stroud Background
Dick has a background as a Marketer in the Services industry,
working for IBM and PA Management Consultants. He owns his own
consultancy and training company that helps organisations achieve
the maximum return from their IT investments.
During the past 3 years the majority of his time has been devoted
to Internet related projects. Clients include IYHF, CIM, Abbey
National, Fujitsu, Instem, Access Finance, BT and Bahrain Telecom.
His most recent venture, 20plus30 helps companies use interactive
technologies to market to the over 50s.
He is the author of the management textbook, Internet Strategies
published by Palgrave Macmillan, which explains the implications
of the Internet on business.
Dick is the Programme Director for Internet based Marketing
courses for The Chartered Institute of Marketing. He is a visiting
member of faculty at the London Business School, where he teaches
on several IT/ E-Business management programmes.
Dick is a prolific writer about Marketing and Internet issues.
He has a first degree in Electronics from Sussex University
and a MBA from Cranfield Business School.
